Jewelry. If you are like me, its a required part of every outfit. I have my standards that tend to appear on a regular basis, and then I have the accent pieces that are chosen on A) how I’m feeling, and 2) what I’m wearing. Believe it or not, your kitchen is pretty much the same animal.

Plumbing and cabinet hardware – the two most common appearances of metal in a kitchen (baths too, but that’s an even longer discussion. We’ll come back to that.), and quite often the two choices that are the hardest for a homeowner to make. And stick with. Re-make. And then stick with that one…..

The reason being that its like trying to decide what jewelry you are going to want to wear and be seen in for the next, ohhh…. 10+ years. WHAT???? One choice for a faucet and one choice for all the hardware on all of my cabinets? I can’t do that!!!!!!

Believe me – I feel your pain. I like mixing it up now and again, but faucets aren’t really the place to do that. Cabinet hardware, possibly, but it isn’t always an inexpensive thing and definitely not something you are going to deal with seasonally.
